Ok, here's the summary for my one-off campaign. You guys can duke it out over who plays what.
The Setting
The Empire has just begun an invasion of the Rebel outpost on Hoth. You are each among the last of the Rebel forces to evacuate this icy planet as Imperial forces storm the Rebel compound. The adventure begins as you board the last transport and prepare to run the Imperial blockade.
The Characters
The following pre-generated characters are available to the players. The descriptions below alternate genders for each character and assume that all of them are human (I only saw one alien Rebel in the Hoth scenes in The Empire Strikes Back). However, I have tried to keep the names as “gender neutral” as possible, and the actual gender and race of each character is up to the player who plays him or her (so long as they don’t opt to play an Ewok or Gungan… ugh). Neither race nor gender will have any significant effect on stats or game play.
Jando Novastar (Smuggler)
A down-and-out smuggler who has been flying ships for the Rebellion ever since her own battered freighter was shout out from under her several months ago. Jando often runs a bit of her own cargo on the side to bring in some extra cash. In fact she’s got a few crates in the hold even now…
Plo Saris (Fringer/Barbarian)
A savage from a distant fringe world, Plo is the oath-sworn friend and co-pilot of Jando. Although he can use a blaster well enough he's far more comfortable with a blade.
Kai Spero (Force Adept)
A streetkid from a core world, Kai is a force sensitive who found her way to the rebellion by following rumors about Jedi rebels. She arrived on Hoth with Jando Novastar less than a week ago. She’s been trying to talk to Luke Skywalker for several days but things seem to keep getting in the way.
Stromgael Raiu (Soldier)
A veteran of the Imperial Army, Stromgael joined the rebellion out of a personal need to atone for some of the terrible things he did as a stormtrooper. However, with death snapping at his heels he’s beginning to reconsider. He recognized the unit insignia of the Imperial troops on Hoth and he has friends among them. If things go south maybe he can cut a deal…
Maldo Tark (Bounty Hunter)
A tough soldier well liked by her peers, Maldo is secretly a bounty hunter who infiltrated the Rebellion on Hoth while chasing a bounty on the notorious smuggler, Han Solo. A crack shot with quick reflexes, she was about to make her move when the Empire interrupted her plans with their invasion.
Xid Revik (Gadgeteer)
Xid has always had a knack with machines and has put his talent to good use for the Rebellion. He would have caught an earlier transport off-world but he was too busy wiping the systems in the command center. He’s not a great fighter, but he doesn’t need to be. His personal droid is well armed and can keep up with any “meat” fighter.
Rebel Forces (Soldier or Medic)
The last transport off Hoth is full of soldiers (and a few medics) from the last line of defense. If players don’t like any of the choices above, they can opt to create or use a basic Rebel soldier or medic instead.
