Rain

The big folk call me a 'pixie' - we have another name for ourselves, but that doesn't matter at the moment. I love the wild places of this world and have spent most of my time protecting and nurturing them.

Most recently, I've moved into a lovely little forest the big folk call "The King's Wood" - what a ridiculous name! As if anyone could own the wild! There are some big folk that come there to hunt the lovely animals. I don't appreciate their presumptuous intrusions and I make efforts to make things difficult for them.

I've wandered quite a bit - which is unusual for a creature such as myself. I'm neither as attractive nor as 'sporting' as many of my cousins. I am an oddity even in my own communities - I'm much more magically adept than most.

Early in life I learned to move myself from place to place in the blink of an eye. I've used this extensively to move from forest to forest so that could help them. I'm also skilled at making myself invisible, which helps to harass the big folk that abuse the wild.

Healing has been an important ability for me, also. Travelling as far as I have is often dangerous!

Because if my difference from others of my kind, I have spent a lot of time alone. Because of this, I often don't understand the subtilties of society. I can tell when people are trying to be funny or make jokes, but they are usually totally lost on me. I also use some trademark explicatives: "Puddling Quacksalver!", "Lapwing!", and "Lobcock!" - people will have taken notice that I say these instead of the traditional explicatives in the community.
