Gregor gathers you all around for a round of drinks, as he tends to do whenever he has something serious to discuss. He informs you that he's spent the last couple of days since your return from the last mission planning for the company’s future. Since most of you don't have homes here in the city, finding more permanent lodging seems of the utmost importance.
With a small down payment and a couple of favors from Rebel leaders, Gregor has managed to acquire a small home in town that he is planning to convert into the company headquarters. The building is a rundown three-story home that could probably house all of you in a very crowded sort of way. Gregor is vowing to put some work in himself and if times get good, invest some more company money into building the place up.
There is plenty of work that needs doing, it just takes some time to find it and sift through the piles of stuff for the good jobs that pay well for minimal risk. As such, he has decided to reorganize the company. He has found a couple of new potential employees and he is planning on splitting the company into two groups. One group will be the dedicated away team. This team he would send out on the important, more lucrative missions. The others will work on smaller one or two-man tasks and try and stay closer to the city.
This team he would like Malkus to lead. He’s a good strategist and has a lot of life experience that he can lend to the cause. He also would like Pincher, Fisher, Ricochet, Candace, Bernard, and Kirpu to be on the regular team. Other members of the company may be placed on the team for missions, and members of the team can be taken off for missions. The added flexibility should help us minimize our risk and maximize our gains.
It appears Gregor saved the topic of money for last on purpose. Giving you the most time possible to enjoy the nice drinks set before you and let their effects settle in. As to how the finances of the company should be run, he has proposed that 70% of the money earned on a given job will be split out amongst those who were involved as evenly as possible and the rest going to pay for company overhead (like the new headquarters). Valuables acquired during missions are to be brought back. Some items will be kept as company property, some will be sold. Members of the company can by items from the company. For Items that are sold, the money will be split amongst the team. Items purchased after the mission is completely resolved are divided amongst the company as a whole.
At some point in the conversation, Gregor’s secret ability comes out and he explains that he has the ability to find people, but not just anyone. He needs an ounce of their blood to do it. But if he has that, he can find them pretty far away, but he’s not sure how far away he can do it yet. So far, he hasn’t tried it outside of the city. It might be useful if someone gets picked up by the Suul again, but other than that it doesn’t seem to useful. Bernard’s power can be used to heal other people, but cannot be used on himself, and it’s not as powerful as Malkus’ healing spells.
