[Day] of [Month], [Year] FG

I am Turok Bai—not the dinosaur hunter—of the Sheltazar Monks. I have little association with my past and have no desires to return to it. I'm small and was looked down upon—literally and figuratively—by those who should have been my true friends. My mother loved me—as is required of all women for their children—but no one else looked to me with respect. I had no friends and was the target of pity and mockery for those all around me. I wasn't even allowed to serve my mandatory time as a soldier among the Suul forces.

For these past several years I've been determined to show my worth, constantly applying myself and mastering my talents. I wasn't that way when I was younger. Instead, I was lazy and allowed the constant pity and insulting from others to fuel my lack of worth. No one expected anything from me; not even me. Fortunately, I eventually realized I had no future and changed my attitude and outlook on life. I made goals and accomplished many of them. I even became one of the respected Sheltazar Monks, a warrior far more feared than a common Suul soldier.

My order has assigned me on a special mission on which I'll work with the elites of various other organizations. I'm honored to be given the opportunity to venture out and complete a mission as an official representative of my order. The assignment is to recover some stolen artifacts, kill Enrik—the man responsible for stealing them, and rescue a noble woman named Anica. Absolute secrecy is a must. Anyone who might learn our objective or who we were working for would need to be killed.

[Day] of [Month], [Year] FG

Enrik was hiding out in a small renegade mage town so our employers provided us with a caravan full of goods in case we wanted to pose as merchants. Deciding we were too heavily armed to be merchants, we instead posed as bandits pretending to be merchants. It worked well. We managed to get into the town without too many questions and were able to learn quite a bit about the town for arriving so boldly.

We found Enrik, as well as several other mages, in a haven hidden underneath an enormous religious statue. We quickly made our way through the corridors of the renegade sanctuary, easily dispatching and capturing our opposition. Among those who came with the group was a mage handler that was happy to enslave as many mages as he could manage, an acceptable alternative to killing them. Enrik, however, was considered too dangerous to capture and was to be killed. He was found in his bedroom with Anica, apparently a willing accomplice in obtaining the artifacts.

Enrik was a talented foe, far more formidable than our other opponents. Our arrows, daggers, and stones passed by him harmlessly, obviously the result of magic. He even conjured up a large ball of flame and threw it directly into the face of one of my comrades. Unfortunately for him, Genco—one of my accomplices—had taken a potion just before the skirmish that rendered him immune to the attack. Elrik also had a golem, but the mage handler easily disabled it with some magic-like force of his own. Ultimately, Elrik was ill prepared to handle us and I caved his skull in with a heavy strike of my staff. Of course, it wasn't difficult when both of his arms had already been crippled by my companions. The blow was merely a token of respect for him that quickly put him out of his misery. He earned the right to a quick death.

Given the situation, we thought it best to burn the entire town to the ground. That was the only way we could ensure the secrecy of our mission. Furthermore, they were harboring renegade mages and were clearly enemies to the empire. Even so, the task might have been very difficult for soldiers, but not one of us complained about the task. It's clear to me why each of us were chosen for this mission.
